About.
Nature, beautifully designed.
Gardens shaped by nature, made for living.
Megan Dodd Studio is led by Megan, an RHS award winning garden and landscape designer with a deep love of plants, landscapes, and the beauty of the natural world. Her work brings together clear, timeless design principles with a sensitivity to ecology and place, creating gardens that are resilient, biodiverse and designed to evolve beautifully over time.
Alongside her design practice, Megan draws on a background in environmental and agricultural policy, as well as experience in project delivery — bringing a thoughtful, well-informed perspective to how land can be shaped, managed and improved. This broader understanding subtly underpins the studio’s work, helping to translate ecological thinking into spaces that feel both natural and intentional.
At the heart of the studio is a passion for art and composition. Megan approaches planting as a living, dynamic canvas, where colour, texture and movement are carefully balanced to create spaces that feel expressive yet deeply harmonious. The aim is always beauty without compromise — gardens that are ecologically meaningful as well as visually compelling.
With a painterly approach to planting, Megan works closely with clients to shape gardens that feel like a natural extension of both home and landscape. Her work is rooted in strong horticultural knowledge and a genuine curiosity for how plants grow, interact and change through the seasons, drawing inspiration from the surrounding countryside and the subtle rhythms of nature.
Whether designing a private garden or an RHS show border, Megan brings the same care, clarity and attention to detail to every project. Each space is an opportunity to create something thoughtful, grounded and enduring.
Based in Tetbury in the Cotswolds, the studio welcomes commissions across the UK.
